CLIENT PROFILE

International Food Manufacturer, based in the US. The client’s products are sold at retail locations across the country. The brand was searching for a way to become more personable, and connect with millennials and moms’ two major segments of their markets. The client realized that without a social presence this could would be accomplished for their brand.

APPROACH

  • Extensive research was conducted on the client’s competitors across multiple social media platforms.

  • Conclusions and strategic suggestions are formulated from competition research to formulate the page strategy.

  • Page strategies are refined and worked out into monthly content calendars, from which our social team then executes creation.

  • Data & market segments are used to target paid advertising to maximize efforts while reducing costs.

STRATEGY

We first started working with this International Food Manufacturer in June, 2016. We launched the first American Facebook & Twitter pages,along with paid advertising campaigns for both platforms. In addition, we have gained fans throughout the United States from Pennsylvania to San Francisco while maintaining creative and engaging posts and digital advertisements for social pages.

In need of a way to reach their audience in an engaging format, Meiji America worked with our team at Cool Nerds Marketing to create, launch and maintain national social media pages for the Meiji brands in America. The goal was to increase interaction, reach, and awareness to enhance consumer loyalty.

SCHEDULING

Since the launch of the social pages, we’ve carefully tracked the most effective timeframes when the highest activity occurs. We then carefully scheduled our posts to match this timeframe in order to see the most reach and engagement from the fan base.

Our work on the Facebook page has helped to increase the page likes from 0 to over 10k in three months, exceeding the goal of 10k in three months. In addition, we have gained fans throughout the United States while maintaining creative and engaging posts and digital advertisements for social pages.

TWITTER

Our work on the Twitter page has helped to increase the page likes from 0 to 990 in just three months and continues to increase. With targeting audiences through Twitter ads, we’ve seen this increase happen across the United States in cities similar to those on the Facebook page.
